With his vast experience and attention to detail
Carey helps to “supercharge” the front end of many
NightGlass projects. On any given day you might find him engaged
as a lighting tech, set designer/builder, videographer, audio tech,
or still photographer. “My goal is to capture the best video
footage or audio recording possible for each individual project.
This takes a lot more than just pushing the RECORD button”.
In
2007 Carey designed and outfitted “NightGlass Studio-B”.
The small but capable insert platform comes complete with green-screen
capabilities featuring custom soft-bank lighting, audio playback
and quick-change set capabilities. Carey keeps this studio “client
ready” at all times to accommodate
the ever-changing project list that “keeps NightGlass hopping”. Passport
ready, Carey has developed production packages that are always
prepared to be wheels up for any location at a moments notice. “I
work closely with the entire team to help everything integrate seamlessly.
The feedback I get from our editors and graphics designer is invaluable
in progressing my skills and maximizing the impact of each client’s
project”. Carey
is also tapped regularly at the Gwinnett Arena, building and deploying
graphic elements for the Gwinnett Gladiators hockey team.
